VIC: Womans death "suspicious"

MELBOURNE, Dec 8 AAP - Homicide squad detectives are investigating the death of a woman
whose body was found in a house in Melbourne yesterday.

A police spokesman said the body of a woman in her 50s was discovered in Narre Warren in
the citys southeast about 2.15pm yesterday.

The circumstances were suspicious and the autopsy was held last night, the spokesman said.

Detectives did not disclose the result.

The womans name has not been released.
