Vic: Briton to fight extradition charges
A Melbourne court's been told a British businessman and his personal assistant willfight an extradition request over a double murder in Singapore.
Commonwealth prosecutor DANIEL CAPORALE's told the Melbourne Magistrates Court that44-year-old MICHAEL MCCREA and AUDREY ONG, aged 22, will contest the extradition request.
MCCREA is wanted for two counts of murder in Singapore after the bodies of his driverand a woman were found in a car in January this year.
ONG, MCCREA'S Singaporean personal assistant, is wanted on two counts of disposingof evidence in relation to the killings.
They've made no application for bail during a brief hearing today. A four-day hearinghas been set down for November.
