FED:Labor wins Grayndler

Greens candidate SAM BYRNE has congratulated Labor for holding on to the Sydney seat
of Grayndler .. but a seven per cent swing to the Greens means the now marginal seat is
up for grabs next polling day.

The seat was won by Labor's ANTHONY ALBANESE who got 54.36 per cent of the vote while
Mr BYRNE got 45.64.

Mr BYRNE says Grayndler is no longer a safe seat that can be taken for granted.

He's also tipped the Greens will make it a tough contest in the NSW election in March
next year in the seats of Marrickville and Balmain.
